This location was previously our preferred store for all things hardware and gardening. Today, my husband was horribly treated by one of their employees to the point where neither of us will ever feel physically safe entering Ace again. If you aren't planning to wear a cowboy hat and boots into the store, be prepared to have employees tell you about how easy it is to hide bodies up here in the caves, how god is the law here and everyone has a gun. This wasn't casual warnings about the area, these were threats based off of how my husband looked. I've a feeling this is a common occurrence, considering how quickly this older male employee felt comfortable alluding to ways my husband could be murdered. Obviously they'll not get our money again, which is so sad as the gardening team was always so kind and helpful.

I really want to like this store, but each I have visited the employees have been unnecessarily rude. If you call them, they're rude on the phone. If you visit in person, they will barely acknowledge you or try to help you. During my last visit, the employee was curt and barely helped me with my order, and gave me the wrong aisle several times . I got fed up and left. I'd rather make the much longer trip down to the Valley Ace off of 273, the people are much nicer down there.

Went by for plumbing supplies. Had a very complex problem of matching fittings. Harrison helped with the tedious task. He was very helpful, polite and patient. This is my go to hardware store.

I went up to the counter to pay for my stuff and this lady was at a register on her Cell phone it took about 10 seconds Before she finally looked up towards another employee and tells them to go to the other register to ring me up I couldn't believe how rude she was.

We went to the Hartnell Valley Ace. Walked in and was helped immediately by Harrison (I think that was his name). He was very knowledgeable with our issue. Our shower faucet decided to not work and finding something similar to it was difficult so the ace hardware employee suggested to us a few things to try out. Husband and I were really appreciative of how attentive Harrison was and knowledgeable too. Definitely an employee to keep in that store.

Knowledgeable staff. The ubiquitous presence of Ace employees makes me feel like they are assuming I’m a criminal. Even though I don’t enjoy the added Loss-prevention scrutiny I still give 5 stars because it is a good store with a good culture of customer service and it isn’t bad to keep inventory safe.
